Elder Felicia A. Brown was born and raised in East Orange, New Jersey comes from a history of powerful women of God. It is her desire to continue the legacy of her grandmother, the late Mother Elvia Harrington, who influenced her to become a woman of prayer and integrity.
She obtained her biblical foundation at Union Gospel Tabernacle U.H.C., Newark, New Jersey, where the Late Bishop Grover McCrea, Sr. was her Pastor. She received Christ as her Savior at the early age of 13 under the ministry of Bibleway Deliverance Center, Roselle, NJ. She worked faithfully in that ministry as choir director and "devotional leader" until she relocated to North Carolina in 1986.
While residing in North Carolina, she accepted her assignment and her purpose became very clear. Her passion for worship evolved and she began to diligently study this passion. While a member of Grace Tabernacle Christian Center in Fayetteville, NC she operated in the capacity of Praise & Worship Leader, Choir Directress, and Church Administrator. It was in this ministry that JUDAH was birthed. She later ministered as Worship Leader for the first four foundational years of Abyssinia Christ Centered Ministries, Southfield, MI. For the following six years, she continued her ministry as Worship Leader, Youth Advisor, Intercessor and member of the ministerial staff at Jabbok Ministries, Forestville, MD. She has ministered with gospel artists and spent time traveling with gospels plays. She is an ordained Elder and member of Columbia Family Worship Center, Columbia, MD where Bishop Ralph and Elder Deborah Dennis are the Senior Pastors.
Elder Brown believes in living the life of a true worshipper and is committed to this ministry call. She can be found in several workshops settings saying, "Worship should never reflect where we are! Worship has nothing to do with where we are but WHO he is and that NEVER changes! Our worship should be consistent with WHO he is and not our circumstance! In this uncertain world, make sure your worship mirrors WHO he is and remains consistent!!
